5 tips for a stress-free visit to the Vet
- Safety first:
Please keep your dog on lead at all times and bring your cat in a secure pet carrier.
- Don’t make a fuss:
Saying “it’s OK” to your pet when they are worried or anxious will only encourage your pet to feel scared. If you are calm, your pet will be too.
- Be wary of others:
Please keep your dog or cat away from other pets in the waiting room unless you have asked permission for dogs to meet or for dogs to sniff cats in carriers.
- Bring a list:
Any questions or concerns you have at home may be forgotten once you arrive, so make a list to refer to during your visit.
- Treats and more treats!
We feed treats to patients at our clinic to reward them for being brave & well behaved.
